Allergen Statement

This statement provides allergen information for the beers sold by Güt Beer Ltd. It is provided as guidance alongside the information on the product label. Always check the product label before consuming, as recipes and ingredients may change.

5.1 Products covered

• Güt Beer Table Beer — 2.9% ABV (pack of 12)

• Güt Beer Low-Alcohol — 0.5% ABV (pack of 12)

5.2 Allergens present

Both of our beers contain BARLEY that contains gluten, and OATS which contain avenin and may be cross contaminated with gluten-containing grains.

Our beers are therefore not suitable for people with coeliac disease or with an allergy or intolerance to gluten, barley or wheat.

5.3 Live cultures (probiotics)

Our beers are brewed with live cultures (probiotics). While live cultures are not one of the 14 legally declarable allergens, we mention them so you can make an informed choice. If you are pregnant, immunocompromised, or have any medical condition, and you are unsure whether a live-culture product is suitable for you, please consult your doctor.

5.4 Other allergens

Aside from the cereals containing gluten listed above, our beers do not intentionally contain any of the other allergens required to be declared under UK food law (namely: crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphur dioxide and sulphites above 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/litre, lupin and molluscs). No finings or processing aids of animal origin (e.g. isinglass, gelatine) are used, hence the beer is suitable for vegans.

5.6 Severe allergies

If you have a severe allergy, please take extra care and read the on-pack labelling. WHEAT, BARLEY, OATS, SULPHUR DIOXIDE & SULPHITES are all handled on the premises where our beer is made, so we cannot completely rule out cross-contamination. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering.
