Refund & Returns

Effective date: 01/09/2026 Last updated: 01/09/2026

This policy explains your right to cancel, return and obtain a refund. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and does not affect your legal rights.

4.1 Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions in section 4.2.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end — email [email protected] with your order number, or use the model cancellation form available on request. You then have 14 days from telling us to return the goods.

  • Returned goods must be unopened, unused and in their original, sealed packaging, in a resaleable condition.

  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or we sent the wrong item.

  • Please keep the beer cool whilst it is in your possession.

We will refund the price you paid for the returned goods, plus the standard delivery cost you originally paid (we do not refund any extra you paid for a premium delivery option), within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you providing proof that you have returned them. We refund using the same payment method you used to order.

4.2 When the right to cancel does not apply

Because our beers are perishable and are sold sealed for health and hygiene reasons, the statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to:

  • goods that are liable to deteriorate e.g. beer that has not been refrigerated properly or left outside on a warm day; and

  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons, where they have been unsealed after delivery.

This means we cannot accept returns of beer that has been opened, or where the outer or individual seals have been broken, unless the product is faulty. This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods (see section 4.3).

4.3 Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your order arrives damaged in transit, faulty, past its best-before date, or is not what you ordered:

  • please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible, and ideally within 48 hours of delivery for transit damage, with your order number and (where possible) a photograph of the problem;

  • you have the right to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery; and

  • alternatively you may ask for a replacement or repair.

Where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will refund or replace them, including any delivery charges you paid. We may ask you to return the goods or provide evidence before issuing a refund or replacement.

4.4 Failed or refused deliveries (age verification)

If a delivery cannot be completed because no adult aged 18 or over is available to receive it, or valid proof of age cannot be provided, please see section 3.7 of our Terms. Where an order is returned to us for this reason, we will refund the price of the goods, less our reasonable delivery and return-handling costs, unless we agree a re-delivery with you.

4.5 Pre-order cancellations

You may cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund, by contacting us at [email protected]. Once dispatched, the cancellation and returns rights above apply.

4.6 How to contact us about a return or refund

Email [email protected]. Please include your order number and the reason for your return so we can help you quickly.
